CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNERS FROM THE BETA CONVENTION: Bestynna Okai won 1st place in Poetry, Devin Hoofman won 1st place in Acrylic painting, Rylie Casteel won 2nd place in Pencil Drawing, and Mikayla West won 3rd place in Colored Pencil drawing.
SCHOLARSHIPS:
SEARCY HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS who are planning to attend the University of Arkansas are encouraged to apply for a scholarship through the Walton College which is provided through the generosity of private donors. The deadline to submit this online application is February 15, 2017. Students who are interested may apply by clicking on the following link and clicking on Apply Now under Scholarships for Incoming Freshman and Transfer Students to the Walton College.

THE WHITE COUNTY MASTER GARDENERS are offering a scholarship for 500.00. Any interested senior can pick up an application in the Guidance Center.
THE ARKANSAS BROADCASTERS ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIPS are now being accepted by the Department of Media at ASU-Jonesboro. The scholarship is for high school seniors who plan to major in broadcasting at A-State. The application is available in the Guidance Center.
