Searcy (LP) New Life Church (NLC) is opening a new location in Searcy. There are thirteen  different other locations in Arkansas.  Such as  Little Rock, North Little Rock, Conway, Cabot, Benton, North Little Rock, Hot Springs, and Fayetteville. NLC is going to be located at 2923 Hawkins Dr, Searcy AR.

The grand opening was April 30th from 9am and 11am. Pastor Rick and Michelle Bezet are the founders. On February 4, 2001 they had their first service Conway in a old car dealership.”There was only about forty people there. It started off small, but there are lots more people going now,”  says Nick Bezet. In August of 2001, they open the second NLC  church in Maumelle, AR. They are expanding NLC all around Arkansas. At NLC, Searcy has different staff than other NLC churches in  Arkansas. The staff is Kevin and Robbye Atkinson as the pastors, Donna Woodson as the campus administrator, David and Erin Bunting as the worship pastors, Kim Cleveland as the little life pastor, Kim Boyd as the kids life pastor, and Craig and Lauren Woodson as the real life pastors.  “I have a nine year old boy and he loves going to class,” says Betty Gold.

This church has after church activities like missions trips, life groups, and connect classes. They offer four different life classes. Life groups provide a place to meet new people and make new friends who walk through life in the NLC community. The others types of life classes are Little Life (which is a class for newborns and kindergarteners), Kids Life (which is a class for grades 1 through 4), and the last group is Kids Life Groups(which is a program for the kids with special needs). Connect class is hear the story of NLC and you can get to know your pastor and staff of the church. “My favorite thing about this church is you have fun while being at church,” says Gold.
