DRIVERS TEST: Since students are no longer required to maintain a specific GPA to take the Diver’s Test, the offices will no longer provide any documentation for the test. The forms needed to take the driver’s test are available on the Arkansas State Police website. The link to this form has also been placed on the High School and District websites for convenient access to our students and parents.
ANY SOPHOMORE interested in going on the 2021 Europe trip can sign up with Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Cook, or Mrs. Beaulieu between classes.
SEARCY VOLLEYBALL RED AND WHITE SCRIMMAGE GAME: will be Friday August 23 @ SHS. This is fundraiser for the volleyball teams. Admission is $ 1, donations welcome. No passes. Concessions available.
Game times are: 7th grade: 4:30, 8th grade: 5:15, 9th grade: 6:00, and JV/Varsity: 7:00

CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS:
FTA: Students may begin signing up for Future Teachers of America on Monday, August 19 in Mrs. Cook’s room, 110. Any student, grades 9-12, are welcome to join. Dues are $5.00.
KEY CLUB: The First Key Club Meeting will be September 3rd in Mrs. Butler’s Room. Anyone wishing to join Key club can go by Mrs. Butler’s room to pick up an application. Returning members need to have their $15 dues paid before the first meeting.
YOUTH TO YOUTH: The meeting will be at 7:40 this Friday, August 23rd in Mrs. Hightower’s room, 113. Students will need to pay their dues. It is $5 for returning members and $7 for new members. We will vote on officers and sweetheart that day.
STUDENT COUNCIL: Student Council will meet Friday, August 23 at 7:35 in Mrs. Edelmann’s room (204).
SPANISH CLUB: Stop by room 324 to sign up for Spanish Club with Miss Haynes. Spanish Club is open to all current Spanish students and former club members. Dues are $5 and must be paid prior to voting for officers or Sweetheart
CHESS CLUB: Searcy High Chess Team will have its first meeting and practice Wednesday, August 21 at 3:05 pm in Room 324. See Miss Haynes ASAP to sign up.
BETA CLUB will meet this Wednesday, August 21st, at 7:40am in the cafeteria.
ART CLUB: For those interested in joining the Art Club, there will be an Art Club meeting on Thursday August 29th @7:40 am in the Art Room 201. You must be a current or former Art student to join.
FCA MEETING: The first meeting of the year for FCA will be this Thursday morning, August 22nd at 7:30 in the high school gym hospitality room. ALL students are invited to attend. Please see Coach Turney with any questions.
