FALL MUSICAL: Into the Woods rehearsal schedule is currently available. We have begun rehearsals, so cast & crew members, make sure that you have a copy of the schedule (available outside the drama room and in the choir room).High School students interested in joining the tech crew should come to our tech meeting on Wed 8/28 from 3:15-5:30 in the Drama room. All current tech should attend as well.
CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS:
FTA: Students may begin signing up for Future Teachers of America on Monday, August 19 in Mrs. Cook’s room, 110. Any student, grades 9-12, are welcome to join. Dues are $5.00.
KEY CLUB: The First Key Club Meeting will be September 3rd in Mrs. Butler’s Room. Anyone wishing to join Key club can go by Mrs. Butler’s room to pick up an application. Returning members need to have their $15 dues paid before the first meeting.
BETA CLUB: Beta Club dues are $15 and are due by Friday, September 13th. Beta members must pay dues to be considered active members for the 2019-2020 school year.
DRAMA CLUB: The Drama Dept. will be having a bake sale at this Saturday’s S.T.E.A.M. themed Beats and Eats. Our booth will be located inside of the Center on the Square building. Come by and see us! A sign up sheet and permission slips are available in the Drama room for Drama Students and Club Members who are interested in helping out. The first Drama Club meeting will be Tues. Aug. 27th at 7:30 am in the drama room. Dues are $10 to join the club. Come meet the club officers and vote for club sweetheart! Sr. girl club members must have paid dues before the meeting in order to be on the ballot. Club shirt orders will be taken through Sept. 3. Cost is $15 each.
SPANISH CLUB: Stop by room 324 to sign up for Spanish Club with Miss Haynes. Spanish Club is open to all current Spanish students and former club members. Dues are $5 and must be paid prior to voting for officers or Sweetheart
ART CLUB: For those interested in joining the Art Club, there will be an Art Club meeting on Thursday August 29th @7:40 am in the Art Room 201. You must be a current or former Art student to join.
FFA: First FFA meeting, Thursday, Sept 5th.-FFA dues are due by Sept 6th; $25
– Fair Day permission slips and payment due by Friday, Sept 6th; $10
FBLA: Any business student or former business student interested in joining FBLA please stop by room 206 and pick up a membership form. The first meeting will be Wednesday, September 4 at 7:35 in room 206 (Akridge’s room)
FCCLA: is collecting dues for membership. $15.00 can be paid to Ms. Johnston in FACS room 104. Club shirts will be $18.00 and can be ordered by Friday 8/23.
